This 1.4 Cubic Foot all refrigerator runs on propane, 110V electric, and 12V DC battery. Operation of the refrigerator is straight forward with the igniter, safety valve, and thermostat located on the control panel. A flame indicator is also located on the control panel to let you know the flame is lit. Inside the Refrigerator you will find an all white interior with adjustable/removable shelving, along with door shelving capable of holding several beverages. Clearance of 4" inches should be left on the top, and 1" inch on back/sides of the unit for proper air circulation. How to ignition
1.Pres

and hold the “safety valve button”, meanwhile,
press the “piezo ignitor”, you may hear a sound of “ka”
the ignitor pin has started to ignite.
2.Once the flame indicator starts to move into the green,
release the “piezo ignitor” but continue to keep the
“safety valve button” depressed for a further 10-15 seconds.
3.Release “safety
valve
button” and again check to see that
the flame is alight, making sure the needle is in the green area
of the flame indicator.
Installation
For best performance at high ambient tem
peratures, there must be free air circulation over the cooling unit at the rear of the refrigerator.Ensure that there is a free air space above the refrigerator and that the flue (chimney) on top of the cabinet is not covered in any way. Do not place the refrigerator in a
space where air circulation is restricted. Follow“clearance”
instructions.
This appliance has been certified as a portable camping appliance in North America it must be used as a portable camping appliance for use outdoors in sheltered area. While using on electrical operation this unit can be used in an enclosed area but must still be protected from moisture as comply with all clearances.

Questions & Answers
1.Does this unit have it's own internal LP regulator?
No the gas supply line is not included with the fridge. When a licensed gas technician installs the appliance, they will be able to supply you with the line. The connector for installation will be on the fridge. What is required is the 3/8” SAE (UNF 5/8” - 18) male flare connection.
2.if the refrigerator is on one power source and it fails, will it switch over to the other power source?
This portable propane fridge doesn`t have a switch to swap AC to DC or electric, it need to manual switch the power.
There is also a flame indicator which will let you know if your flame is lit or not.
XCD:There is a manual switch on the bottom control panel that will require you to change from Propane to 110V. There is also a flame indicator which will let you know if your flame is lit or not.
3.direct vent or free vent？
XC40 is our standard model which is free-venting.
4.When it says vent free, does it mean it doesn’t need to be vented?
By law, there is no venting required for this unit. If you are interested in a vent system, then you will need to special order our Direct Vent model.
