The insert has symbols and numbers for 0 to 180 degrees on one side and 180 to 360 degrees on the other: can be taken out and reversed to cover all 360 degrees. Instructions on the reverse in French on how to use the calculator, with formulas given for calculating the position of a planet in the future (it says) and a table of logarithms. A few bends and tears but nothing that has taken away from any print on the panels. (This was part of the working kit of my distant relative, Blanche, in Paris, in the first half of the 20th century.
