Vintage real photo postcard (RPPC) showing the "Tara Brooch",
a pennannular ring-brooch of ancient age found in County Meath, Ireland,
and on display at the National Museum of Ireland.
Back caption reads,
"TARA BROOCH. A ring-brooch of gilt bronze
decorated with panels of gold and silver and set with amber
and glass studs. It dates from about mid 8th century , A.D.
Found at Betaghstown [Bettystown], Co. Meath."
