The Grandaire 2 ton outdoor heat pump system 14.5 SEER models WCH4244GKB, WAHL244C
is
built and designed to stand the test of time and proves it by
featuring the industries best warranty which includes a 10 year all parts warranty *with registration* and a no-hassle unit replacement if an outdoor coil or compressor were to fail in the first year.
The air handler can is multi-position and can be installed vertical, horizontal left, horizontal right, and downflow and has built in horizontal and vertical drain pans with multiple electrical and condensate drainage access ports.
Grandaire is built by International Comfort Products (ICP) which is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation (UTC) which produces Sikorsky helicopters and Aerospace systems; both companies do not compromise on quality. The heat pump Grandaire condensers feature Copper tube/aluminum fin condenser with industry leading scroll compressors and TX valve metering device. With a heatpump system you are saving hundreds of dollars each year on your electric bill by utilizing your outdoor unit to reverse the flow of refrigerant and provide heat from your outdoor unit in conjunction with the backup electric heatstrip in your air handler when ambient temperature calls for the additional demand. The air handler coils are all aluminum with a less than 2% leak rate and include an energy efficient and reliable 5 speed ECM blower motor! The condenser cabinet is
pre-painted over galvanized steel. The Grandaire WCH heat pump series were intentionally engineered to be a compact design for narrow lots and ease of installation, allowing easy access with only 2 screws to access the control panel.
The 2 ton WCH4244GKB condensing unit is only 25.75" W x 25.75" L x 35.75" H and air handler WAHL244C is only 17.63" W x 22.06" D x 49.63"H. The system features environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant and is factory pre-charged to 15ft!

ORDERING
Please take all precautions when purchasing your equipment or supplies. We offer advice to you based on your representation. We do not guarantee sizing or application. We recommend that you get local advice and be sure prior to your purchase. If you order the wrong equipment or supplies and your order has been shipped and you have not unpacked or opened your order, we will refund 90% less shipping costs.
PAYMENT
We accept Master Card, VISA, Discover, and Paypal.
CANCELLATIONS
If your equipment or supplies have not been packaged for shipment, we will refund your purchase less a 3% cancellation fee.
If your order has been packaged and not shipped, we will refund 100% / 97% less a 25.00 restocking fee.
If your order has been shipped and you have not unpacked or opened your order, we will refund 90% less shipping costs. (Shipping cost will be doubled because of return shipping.)
If you have received your order and opened it and it can not be returned in original condition as shipped, we will refund upon receipt and inspection an amount that is fair and equitable to both parties.
SHIPPING
After payment we will ship your products with the following means. If the order is over 100 pounds we will ship on a trucking line strapped to a pallet and shrink wrapped for safety of your order. Please allow 7 to 10 days to arrive. Items under 100 pounds will be sent UPS or Fed Ex please allow 5 days to arrive.
It is our company and the trucking company’s policy to tell you to allow 7 to 10 days for delivery, but in most cases it will arrive sooner. In the unlikely event your shipment is late contact our office and we will provide you tracking information.
If your shipment is going to a business address, a semi truck has to be able to gain access to the business and it can not be in a residential area.
If your shipment is going to the trucking company distribution center, they will call you when shipment arrives. Your system in most cases will fit in a small pickup truck, SUV or van.
If your shipment is going to a residential address, it is vital that you are present when shipment arrives. The Trucking Company will call you before delivery.
Regardless which type of shipping you chose, it is important that you open or remove the box and inspect all equipment pieces you purchased. Budget takes every precaution to package your items properly for shipment. It is possible that small dents or dings to the cabinets could be found. In this situation please note the damage on the trucking bill of lading and accept the shipment. Minor flaws are cosmetic and do not effect the operation of the system or warranty. In the event that major damage is evident, BE SURE to note the damage on the trucking bill of lading and accept the shipment.
IMPORTANT READ THE BELOW STATEMENT:
IF YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE ON YOUR BEHALF ACCEPTS THE DELIVERY WITH NO DAMAGE NOTED, OR DO NOT INSPECT ALL EQUIPMENT, AND DAMAGE IS FOUND LATER YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE A CLAIM. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU, WE WILL NOT SHIP YOU ANOTHER UNIT OR GET INVOLVED WITH THE TRUCKING COMPANY.
ACCEPTANCE
It is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect your shipment to be sure it is complete and correct.
If your order is incorrect we must be notified within 5 days, otherwise your purchase will be deemed completed.
INSTALLATION
We recommend and strongly encourage you to have the system installed by a knowledgeable professional. Regardless of who installs your equipment it must be charged and started by a licensed company or individual.
All installations must conform to local, state codes and EPA regulations governing handling of refrigerant. Budget assumes no liability associated with installation of your equipment.
RETURNS
We will always accept returns subject to cancellation policy. Budget will make every effort to exchange equipment for another in an effort to minimize fees.
WARRANTY
All manufactures warranties apply based on brand and equipment. Budget offers no labor warranty, as we are not installing your equipment. Your local contractor should supply you a labor warranty. Your local company can replace any parts under warranty. Budget will handle the parts exchange for you if you prefer, for a .00 processing fee plus UPS or FedEx charges.
