Extraordinary GENERAL DYNAMICS RESEARCH DEPARTMENT Optic Positioner / Lens or Mirror Optical Mount Lot of 14 - acquired through a surplus liquidation by a defense contractor affiliate of GD - this research laboratory wrote purchase prices on many of their lab items, with original purchase prices on several of these at 0 each not including micrometers and one is of noticeably exceptional quality and is marked entirely Solid Brass construction - these are all truly of phenomenal quality and were more than likely made by Newport NRC Oriel or other similar quality maker - virtually all are identified with specs on cards with all holding sizes from 2" - 2 1/2", with the majority at roughly 2 5/16" - 2 3/8" or 2 1/2" - several are marked General Dynamics Research Dept Serial No. 36 with various Serial # 36 - model numbers included - includes 3 solid brass bases or stands as well and the only real condition issue we can find is one of the Starrett micrometers is loose and will need to be reinstalled, otherwise condition is amazing - nearly 40 lbs. of optical positioners / mounts in all and our asking price is less than each to your door, so don't let them slip by
