    Description

Listed for sale is a beautifully crafted custom and handmade baby crib, produced by Charles Webb (designer and craftsman) circa mid to late 20th century. Charles Webb was trained as in architecture at Cornell University, eventually leaving the world of architecture to found a furniture and design company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Webb's work was reserved yet contemporary, with terrific architectural lines and an emphasis on functional works such as this. This crib is a terrific example of Webb's design ideology, incorporating oak and a slatted design that is typical of Webb's pieces.
The crib has a hinged gate that drops as shown in the photos. Its condition overall is terrific, only showing light wear from use. Overall, the piece measures 50.5 inches wide by 27 inches deep and 52 inches tall.
The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
