Up for auction is this
Antique 1930's Coca Cola Store Ice Box Cooler. It is pre-compressor and holds ice only. It was used to cool Coca Cola bottles back in the day. It can still do so today, as it about 95% refurbished, just a couple of minor cosmetic details left to complete. The handle is missing and the painting on some of the raised lettering needs to be completed, as you can see clearly in the photo's. The ice cooler measures 34" tall by 25" long by 17" deep. The cooler insert measures 12" deep and does have a drain for melting ice..
When I purchased this cooler years ago, it was in dreadful condition. I completely sandblasted the unit, had a custom made insert made, and repainted it, well almost; there is a little more painting left on the white lettering. You will need to pick up or make a new handle for the top lid, as I misplaced the original one during restoration. There are a few scratches on the paint from storage in my garage over the years since the restoration.
