Vintage fold-out 1927 Michelin road map of the Paris-Caen region in France, printed more than 93 years ago.
This map opens to 49.5 x 110 cm [19½" x 43½"] and is drawn on a scale of 1:200,000.
The coverage area includes Beauvais, Rouen, L'Sieux, Thiberville, Broglie, Versailles, Argenteuil, Mantes, Everux, Vernon, Le Havre, Caen, and the city of Paris, west of Porte de Choisy.
The map is bound into cardboard covers with graphics featuring Bibendum — the jolly, rotund Michelin Man, first introduced in 1898 and one of the world's oldest and most recognized trademarks.
Condition:
It is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with
no
rips, tears, or writing. It is blank on the back, with no printing on the reverse side. The covers show a bit wear on the edges. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
